Hi All,

Priority RN Nursing Services, a healthcare staffing agency, located in Carlsbad, CA staffs acute care hospitals, research facilities, outpatient surgery centers, and infusion centers.

We have been asked to recruit one full time OR SCRUB SURGICAL TECH to work at an outpatient surgery center in La Mesa. They'd like an experienced tech to work in their GI room.

Must be able to independently scrub all cases - colonoscopy and EGD's.

Schedule is Mon to Fri...start as early as 6a/630a start, and end as late as 5pm, depending on case load. Our cancellation policy is they need to cancel within 12 hours of start of shift, or you'll receive 6 hours of pay. They will guarantee you 32 hours per week.

Pay (DOE) with OT after 8, DT after 12, OT after 40.

Requirements:

• Must have paid time working experience in GI OR's. No ability to train. Student experience does not count.
• Must be able to scrub all listed independently and comfortably
• Experience must be in an US outpatient facility within the past 3 years
• Must have AHA BLS
• ASAP start date
• Must speak English fluently
• Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
• 90 day contract, then may lead to full time position
• Certification not necessary, however proof of education is a must.

No nights, no weekends, no call. Outpatient facility!

Must be able to pass a criminal check as well as a drug screen, and have current TB skin test (from within the past year). Priority RN pays for UDS and crim check.

They are open to having you convert to their full time employee as well after the intial 90 day.
