MSG Staffing is Hiring a HR Administrative Assistant (Part Time) Near Worcester, MA

The HR Administrative Assistant / Credentialing Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality within our healthcare staffing framework. This position is designed to ensure that all active candidates meet and maintain the necessary compliance requirements, contributing to the overall excellence and reliability of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
  • Oversee the credentialing process for initial onboarding and re-credentialing of staffing candidates, ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Provide real-time updates to recruiters through the ATS post-offer acceptance, managing all stages of credentialing and communicating any issues promptly.
  • Verify candidate eligibility, education, board certifications, work history, references, and compliance with The Joint Commission standards, including drug screens and background checks.
  • Maintain and organize candidate files in electronic format, ensuring data accuracy and completeness in databases.
  • Regularly review candidate profiles for up-to-date credentials, perform routine cleanups, and proactively contact candidates for compliance maintenance.
  • Respond to unemployment inquiries, employment verifications, and perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Oversee the credentialing process for initial onboarding and re-credentialing of Per Diem and Contract staffing candidates, ensuring a high-quality customer service culture.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administrative, credentialing, healthcare administration, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals at various levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Experience in using databases, as well as MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
