SUMMARY:
The basic functions of the Customer Service Representative are to establish a working relationship with customers via mail, telephone, or email by performing the essential duties and responsibilities listed below.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Customer Service Representative reports to the Sales Manager and is directly accountable to that position for accomplishing all responsibilities and duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative consist of, but are not limited to the following:
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job satisfactorily, the individual must:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through out the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts or office supplies on occasion.

The performance of this position may, on rare occasions, require exposure to the manufacturing areas where in certain areas, require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection.
For the most part, ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment will be the constant work environment.
