Mott MacDonald is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join a large rail program in Boston, MA. This would be a leadership role on the PMCM team supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects that represent a capital investment of over $5B, strategically aligned to modernize the oldest subway in America. Projects are in various stages including planning, studies, concept development, design and construction.
This position is specifically located at our downtown project office, working directly with the client in a dynamic environment.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.As a Deputy Program Manager, you will be responsible to assist the Program Manager in execution of all team tasks and related resourcing. Provide hands-on execution of work production and coordination between functional and project teams, ensuring excellence and consistency for client deliverables. Monitor team performance and lead the production of various reporting and communications to the client, stakeholders and oversight. Support the client as needed. Provide on-site coverage and leadership while the Program Manager is off site, including assuming the role as primary point of contact with the client.
