MobilityWorks and Driverge is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Akron, OH

Driverge Vehicle Innovations is the country’s leading builder of commercial shuttles, wheelchair accessible vans, transporters, and small busses. Recognized as industry experts, our builds service vehicle conversions for Healthcare, Fleet Services, Personal & Medical Aid customers. Driverge Vehicle Innovations is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator. We provide a great work life balance with regular business hours so you can be home spending time with family or doing what you love most! If you love the auto industry and working with cars this job is for you!

The Human Resource Coordinator will provide administrative support to Human Resource Business Partner’s, Manufacturing Team Members and Managers.

What you get to accomplish: 

  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly audit of Backgrounds Check, MVR's, I-9s, Licenses, location listings & HR processes. 
  •  Responsible for following-up with all new hire Background Check, MVR, Drug Screening and E-Verify process. 
  • Responsible for new-hire paperwork, personnel file maintenance and audit ready completeness of all files.
  • Prepare and input all permanent changes into the payroll system. 
  • Generate reports from the HRIS system as requested for projects. 
  • Assist the HR department in scheduling and developing materials for open enrollment events.
  • File first reports of injury, maintain injury/incident records and assist in the management of all Worker’s Compensation claims

What you should posses: 

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration preferred.
  • Must have demonstrable competency with computers (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) 
  • At least 2 years of Human resource experience or equivalate transferable experience
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems and time/labor systems is a plus.

  • Hours of operation- Hours of operation: 4 – 10-hour days (M-Th, 5AM -3:30PM, Mandatory Fridays if scheduled (5AM – until released) – SC, OH, KC
