Summary:
Provides direct support to the Talent Acquisition team by assisting in the candidate selection, hiring and on-boarding process. Serves as a resource for other areas of Human Resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education Required:
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Human Resources or closely related field required; commensurate years of experience in Human Resources can be substituted for the Associate Degree requirement.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience & Training:
  • Strong computer skills
  • Recruitment experience in a healthcare environment preferred

  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced, high volume environment that has frequent interruptions while problem solving, prioritizing work and meeting established timelines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, work independently, efficiently handle multiple tasks and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment by displaying a positive attitude, accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, by supporting team goals and encouraging other team members, and by collaborating with departmental team members to consolidate work, solve problems, create new methods and/or reduce costs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with general public, employees, department heads, physicians and others contacted in the course of work.
  • Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with Summa’s Commitments and maintains confidentiality.
  • Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

  • Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
