Mister Car Wash is Hiring a HR Business Partner Near Tucson, AZ

We’re currently seeking a HR Business Partner to support our operations team and company-wide Human Resources initiatives. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring the execution of general HR services for all locations in their assigned regions, including but not limited to, employee relations matters, compliance, HR related training, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, workforce effectiveness and individual development planning. This person will ensure that HR programs and plans are aligned with business priorities and will monitor effectiveness through the tracking of key metrics. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Partner with regional leaders, offering front line support for employee relations matters within their assigned MCW field locations.Ensure compliance regarding Company values, policy/procedures and federal/state employment laws.Provide guidance to managers and employees over the phone or in person for HR related concerns including employee relations, compliance and performance management, i.e., individual development and performance improvement plans. Act as a strategic partner by providing formal and informal training to all levels of management on a range of HR related topics such as employment law, company initiatives, employee feedback or benefits. Regularly travel to assigned locations to offer in-market HR support to local leaders.In coordination with the General Counsel and Senior HR Manager, respond to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment and discrimination claims.Conducts investigations pertaining to employee misconduct and policy violations. Provide recommendations toward dispute resolution.Develop, implement, and manage people related metric reporting to support the market strategy and to drive business results.Partner with Tucson Comp & Benefits Team to communicate and implement programs related to Compensation & Benefits to ensure compliance and to meet the needs of the market.Regularly maintain and build professional knowledge by participating in meetings, seminars, reading industry publications and job shadowing. HOW YOU WILL SHINE: The ideal candidate will possess a business-oriented mindset and an outgoing personality, with a focus on developing strong relationships with both operational leadership and employees. This person is an important bridge between our operations management team and our company vision and mission. These traits will ideally be partnered with the following:Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.Minimum 5 years of experience handling HR fundamentals, employee relations, compliance, recruitment and trainingKnowledge of employment laws and regulations including state and federal regulations regarding employment practicesAbility to objectively coach, manage conflict, and mediate complex issuesAbility to document investigations and provide a written summary of formal complaints, interacting with internal General Counsel as neededStrong communication skills - written, oral, and presentationExhibit a highly collaborative and influential working style while showcasing proactive communicationExhibit humility, a strong work ethic and a curiosity to learn our businessHighly organized and detail orientation are a mustInherent understanding of confidentiality, with the ability to combine the needs of people with policy when handling sensitive mattersWillingness to travel weekly within Tucson and up to 20% outside of TucsonMaintain a flexible schedule in reaction to business need; weekends and night time hours may be required occasionallyMust be willing to work outside in different weather conditions alongside employees and managersProficient with MS Office Suite, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
