Mish Mish is hiring a Sous Chef to join its small but mighty kitchen team! An ideal candidate would love the idea of working with a small team, bring passion and energy to the job, have a willingness to learn and teach, and enjoy a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities include:
-Assist in menu development, including large party and buy-out menus
-Work the line, and be responsible for station every night
-Help oversee other line cooks and prep cooks, assuring standards are being met and prep is being completed in a timely manner
-Manage scheduling and keep track of time off requests using the Sling app
-Help maintain organization of the walk-in and dry storage areas
-Assist chef with ordering (meats, veg, dry goods, fish)
