Role Overview: As a Customer Service Estimator, you will be the face of Minuteman Press, interacting with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction. Your friendly demeanor, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will contribute to our clients’ positive experience. You will play a critical role in our operations by accurately assessing project costs, preparing quotes, and ensuring competitive pricing for our clients. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and understanding of printing processes will contribute to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Project Assessment:
• Review client project specifications, including print quantities, paper types, finishing options, and delivery requirements.
• Analyze production processes and material costs to determine accurate estimates.
• Cost Calculation:
• Utilize estimating software or tools to calculate project costs.
• Consider labor, materials, machine time, and overhead expenses.
• Collaborate with production teams to validate estimates.
• Quoting:
• Prepare detailed and competitive quotes for clients.
• Communicate pricing information clearly and professionally.
• Address any client inquiries related to estimates.
• Vendor Relations:
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for outsourced services (e.g., specialty paper, binding, finishing).
• Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when necessary.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new technologies.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Client Interaction:
• Greet clients in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Listen attentively to their requests and inquiries.
• Provide accurate information about our services and products.
• Order Processing:
• Assist clients with placing orders for business cards, brochures, banners, and other printed materials.
• Verify order details, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Issue Resolution:
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Investigate and resolve any order discrepancies or quality issues.
• Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude.
• Upselling and Cross-Selling:
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products.
• Educate clients about our graphic design, branding, and marketing offerings.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
• Process payments and handle invoicing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
