Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Reports to: Director of Sales

Job Summary: As a member of our sales team, you will sell unit load products and solutions including, but not limited to, pallets, lumber, packaging films, tapes, strapping, and packaging machinery in a consultative, professional, and highly competitive sales environment. This includes creating primary market demand for Millwood products and services by prospecting, cold calling, and educating users in the manufacturing and distribution markets on the value of Millwood’s unit load solutions. SALARY PLUS COMMISSION
· Responsibilities:
o Target, contact, and develop new business opportunities within assigned geographic area
o Follow up on leads generated through other Millwood channels (trade shows, website, other RSMs)
o Develop and present proposals that address each potential customer’s defined needs
o Negotiate pricing for all products and services with new and existing direct accounts
o Maintain and expand revenue and profitability with existing accounts
o Manage and resolve product, service, and (when necessary) accounts payable issues with customers
o Document all activity in Salesforce
o Work closely with National Account Managers to service National Account customers within territory
o Represent MWI at Industry Trade Shows, as assigned
o Develop and achieve annual sales and profitability plans
o Communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
o Manage the territory with integrity and in accordance with all other Millwood policies
Requirements:
o Education Level: 4-year Bachelor Degree
o Documented experience in outside sales / territory management
o Entrepreneurial attitude towards new business development
o Proven strong analytic and problem solving capabilities
o Ability to travel within the territory 3-5 days per week
o Availability for overnight travel within territory and to corporate meetings, events; or as required
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and Outlook
o Self-motivated and goal driven with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
o Ability to work with cross functional departments
o Documented communication skills; both verbal and written
o Strong basic math skills
o Reside in the sales territory
· Preferred
o 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration
o 5 years of successful, proven outside sales experience
o 5 years of Industrial sales experience
o Pallet, Lumber, and/or Packaging Industry experience
o Experience with Salesforce
