Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager specializing in controls for glass and gypsum handling equipment, your role involves various responsibilities aimed at driving growth and success in your company's offerings tailored to the glass and gypsum industries. As a Business Development Manager in this field, your goal is to drive sales growth, foster innovation, and establish your company as a trusted provider of gypsum handling equipment solutions. By understanding market needs, building strong relationships, and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, you can position your company for long-term success in the glass and gypsum industries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to understand the dynamics of the glass and gypsum industries, including market size, trends, key players, and emerging opportunities. Analyze competitor offerings and identify gaps that your company can fill with its gypsum handling equipment solutions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the glass and gypsum industries, including glass and gypsum producers, contractors, and distributors. Understand their specific needs, challenges, and pain points and tailor your solutions accordingly.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to enhance existing glass and gypsum handling equipment or develop new products that address the unique requirements of the glass and gypsum handling processes. Ensure that your company's offerings are innovative, efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop, implement and execute the strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets, acquire new customers, and increase market share. Identify key decision-makers within target companies and deliver tailored sales pitches and proposals to win their business.

Education and Experience
