We are looking for a determined, high-energy, well-organized individual for the Accounts Payable Specialist position.

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

• Coding, entering, verifying and vendor reconciliation of invoice, match with supporting documentation and enter into company system(s) for payment
• Review vendor statement to ensure accuracy and resolve issues that arise
• Review all invoices for appropriate coding and approvals
• Obtain new vendor and W-9 forms when applicable
• Process invoices for 25 locations in the United States & Canada
• Answer all vendor and internal AP inquiries
• Assist with weekly check run; month end closing
• Provide supporting documents for internal and external audits, as needed
• Assign to appropriate location managers and administrators for approval
• Assist other associates – including AP team and accounting as necessary
• Assist AP manager with projects and ad-hoc reports as necessary
• All other duties as assigned or otherwise required by Corporate Accounts Payable Manager

Qualifications:

• NetSuite experience or other ERP system with purchasing/inventory module
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable
• Multi-location experience
• Knowledge of purchase order processes
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting
• Flexible and adaptable to business needs as they change
• Strong organizational skills, being careful, accurate and detail oriented in a fast paced environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
