An established renewable energy company that has coverage across the US for Utility-scale solar, storage and wind projects. They have operated in the industry for over 25 years. With a substantial pipeline of projects in both the early and delivery phase, our client are actively looking to appoint a Development Manager who will join an exceptionally talented division delivery projects across CAISO, WECC, SPP MISO.

Description

The Development Manager (Renewable energy) will be responsible for:

• Hands-on team leader and project developer.
• Personally develop a pipeline of utility scale solar, energy storage and other renewable energy technologies in either CAISO, SPP, WECC or MISO.
• Lead a growing team of project developers.
• Lead and manage interdisciplinary teams including land negotiations, real estate, engineering, permitting, legal and interconnection through construction commencement.
• Support M&A diligence and development efforts.
• Lead project strategy throughout the entire development process to achieve project & corporate goals.
• Ensure completion of any post-closing covenants or development activities performed by the project Seller.
• Develop and manage project development schedules and budgets.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage contract obligations in key project documents.
• Coordinate closely with the cross-functional teams across the company.

Profile

The Development Manager (Renewable energy) will have:

• 4 years experience within the renewable industry
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field is desirable
• Experience with managing utility scale projects through to NTP in either CAISO, MISO, SPP or WECC
• Experience of identifying and working on greenfield projects

Job Offer

The Development Manager (Renewable energy) will be eligible for:

• $140,000 - $160,000 base salary
• Annul bonus (30%)
