We are a busy privately owned and operated outpatient physical therapy clinic on the Upper West Side seeking an energetic and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our upbeat team. We specialize in sports medicine, orthopedics and post-operative procedures.

We provide exemplary customer service to all of our patients. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Energetically greeting and welcoming patients
• Organizing and coordinating patient in-take, appointment scheduling and rescheduling
• Accurately enters/updates patient information
• Scanning, updating and filing medical records
• Answering phone calls, questions, etc. in a prompt and polite manner
• Processing of medical insurance information, verifying patient benefits and eligibility and addressing any patient questions
• Handling cash and payments accurately and responsibly
• Professional, trustworthy, responsible at all times
• Goal oriented mindset with a positive outlook

Experience:

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and a team player
• Ability to effectively interact with physicians, patients and other staff members
• Flexible/adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environment
• Must exhibit passion for outstanding results and compassion for those we work with and serve
• 1 yrs experience as a physical therapy front desk receptionist
• Experience in a physical therapy setting is required

Hours are full –time and flexible Monday through Friday. Must be able to do some evening shifts. Must have a flexible schedule. Interested candidates should respond with a cover letter and resume and place in the subject line Front Desk Receptionist.
