Metrosys is Hiring a Desktop Support Analyst Near Plano, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, addressing complex hardware and software-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve escalated technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot advanced desktop hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve intricate technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct advanced system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure systems are current and secure.
  • Assist in maintaining hardware and software inventory, tracking equipment, and managing licensing.
  • Set up and configure new user accounts, profiles, and email accounts, including advanced user permissions and access controls.
  • Provide advanced user training and support on complex hardware and software applications.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on advanced desktop equipment.
  • Document and maintain advanced standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Level 2/3 Desktop Support Analyst or in a similar advanced technical support role.
  • Strong expertise in desktop operating systems, including Windows and MacOS.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software-related issues.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management and support (iOS, Android).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide effective advanced technical support to end-users.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize advanced tasks in a fast-paced environment.
