Responsibilities:The Director of Risk Management and Insurance will oversee the organizations comprehensive risk management and insurance program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting and monitoring risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends. Ensures the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and strategic imperatives of the organization. Establishes the risk management architecture for the organization. Oversees or monitors all operational risk management activities of the organization.
Qualifications:- A Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field is required.
- At least one year of related experience preferred. Knowledge of health care environments preferred.
- Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of risk management.
