Director – Strategy & Execution, Operational Risk Transformation
The Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) organizationis American Express’ Independent Risk Management function. As American Express executes against its growth ambitions and commitment to customer excellence, it is imperative that we continue to transform our Operational Risk Management to scale with a robust operating structure. The company is embarking on a multiyear transformation, to elevate Operational Risk Management as a critical function across the enterprise and strengthening our control environment. The Chief Risk Officer and Chief Colleague Experience Officer of American Express are the co-executive sponsors of this effort. The Operational Risk Transformation team is a newly set up team within GRC which will be responsible for leading this transformation. We are seeking a leader who will lead the Strategy and Execution of this critical Transformation Initiative. The incumbent will be key in defining and supporting the evolution and enhancement of our Operational Risk model for the enterprise. This is a high visibility opportunity that includes working with cross functional stakeholders across the enterprise including several senior leaders on this pivotal initiative.

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
