Our client, a nationally recognized and multiple award-winning healthcare organization, is actively seeking a Cytotechnologist to join their dedicated team. This full-time role includes a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonus opportunities.

Overview: In this critical role, the professional will engage in microscopic examinations of cell samples to detect variations from normal. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, possess the ability to perform complex analyses, and effectively organize workload to adhere to strict deadlines within a dynamic laboratory environment.

Responsibilities:

• Validate and ensure the accuracy of all laboratory results.
• Assist in the immediate evaluation, collection, and preparation of biopsy and FNA specimens.
• Carry out standardized protocols during the examination of both gynecological and non-gynecological specimens, including initial assessments of abnormal cases.
• Conduct quality assurance and control activities tailored to patient demographic data and historical profiles.
• Maintain independence in task management to meet and exceed established timelines.

Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Cytotechnology, Medical Technology, or a closely related field is required.

Experience:

• Minimum of one year's experience in a relevant healthcare laboratory setting.

Certification and Licensure:

• Must be eligible for ASCP certification.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in laboratory information systems.
• Expert in microscopic examination and cellular analysis.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

Seniority Level:

Pay: $66,768.00 - $106,808.00 per year
