POSITION TITLE: Personnel CoordinatorBUILDING: Administration BuildingREPORTS TO: Assistant to the Superintendent for Human ResourcesQualifications
  • Degree beyond High School preferable
  • Proficiency in typing (60wpm), Google, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Interpersonal skills in a fast-paced office
Essential Job Functions
  • Coordinate and maintain Worker’s Compensation
  • Coordinate and maintain short-term disability
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Type correspondence, letters, memos, etc., in accordance with Personnel’s procedures
  • Complete Tuition Reimbursement forms
  • Complete Change of Address forms
  • Complete Loan Cancellation forms
  • Complete Verification of Employment forms
  • Maintain Personnel Database:
  • Job postings and Interviews
  • Files on substitutes for professional and support staff
  • Interview schedules
  • Professional applicants - enter and file new applications
  • Observations and Evaluations (enter on spreadsheet and file)
  • Maintain professional and support staff seniority lists
  • Maintain Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
  • Complete reference checks
  • Monitor health appointments/results with MedExpress
  • Maintain personnel files for administrative, professional, support staff, custodial staff and maintenance staff
  • Answer telephones; respond to routine questions, schedule appointments and interviews
  • Update employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses
  • Maintain comp time for support staff employees
  • Enter negative days for staff
  • Enter approval for conference requests
  • Make changes in computer per direction from payroll
  • Make changes in computer per direction from absence reports from building
  • Remove old applications from files after one year
  • Open mail
  • Lock all file cabinets and doors
  • Complete EEOC compliance reporting
  • Maintain ACT 93 vacation calendar
  • Assist with completion of new hire paperwork/meetings
  • Assist in preparation of newspaper ads for postings
  • Assist with Act 24 recordkeeping
  • Assist with Board Letter distribution
  • Maintain Act 48 recordkeeping
  • Assist in maintaining current professional and support staff information in Pro-Soft
  • Assist in processing employment applications for professional and support staff
  • Assist in creating documents, brochures and handbooks
  • Assist with any additional assignments supervisor may request
  • Assist with other assignments as needed by the Superintendent or Superintendent's Designee
