Job Description:
- Performs microscopic examinations
- Provides final interpretations of normal gynecological specimens
- Provides initial interpretations of non-gynecological, FNA and abnormal gynecological specimens using standardized procedures
- Assists in the collection and preparation of FNA and biopsy specimens for immediate evaluation
- Understands method principles
- Performs quality control and quality assurance activities
- Evaluates results based on patient demographics and history
- Works independently
- Organizes work to meet established deadlines and validates all data obtained.

Qualifications:
Education Requirements
4 year/bachelor's degree REQUIRED
Certification and Licensure:
ASCP Eligible – will consider
Cytotech experience level – 1 years
MUST HAVE thin Prep experience

Pay: $63,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
