As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our day-to-day accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of two accountants, managing reconciliations, month-end close processes, and integrating acquisitions into our accounting systems. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting, contributing significantly to our company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and up-to-date financial data.
- Supervise and mentor a team of two accountants, fostering their professional development and ensuring successful execution of their duties.
- Oversee reconciliation processes and lead month-end close to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage the integration of acquisitions into our accounting systems, ensuring seamless transition and alignment with company standards.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of NetSuite to optimize functionality within the accounting department.
- Finalize the implementation of POS changes at the store level and ensure integration with NetSuite.
- Support the rollout of additional stores and oversee integration of their financial data into NetSuite.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA qualification is preferred.
- Extensive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is essential, with a deep understanding of its capabilities.
- Experience managing POS system changes and integrations is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
