JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description Duties & Resp: Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects. KSAs: A seasoned experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization resolving a wide range of issues in creative ways. Fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. Broad application of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields. Provides resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Contributes to the development of organization’s goals and objectives.
