Memmert USA is Hiring a Remote Outside Sales Representative

Company Overview:

Memmert USA is a company focused on providing high-quality laboratory equipment to its customers. With a strong emphasis on innovation, Memmert USA is a leader in the field of premium laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the assigned territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets
  • Travel weekly within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
  • Willing and able to travel overnight is required
  • Expected to travel and communicate with VP of Sales, periodically
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts by identifying and pursuing upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our products and services to effectively educate and advise customers on their options
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, maintain accurate records, and track sales progress
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to generate leads and promote Memmert products

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree with relevant experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the laboratory equipment industry
  • A background in science preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and in concert with sales leadership
  • Knowledge of CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation:

  • Salary: $75K-$90K
  • Commission: up to $20K annualized
  • Bonus: up to $5k
