Digital Marketing Specialist // Golf & Charity

**Company Overview:**

Member for a Day is the world’s largest online charity golf platform. Since 2020 we’ve raised over $7.1 million for charity by auctioning off once in a lifetime golf experiences. We are seeking a dynamic digital marketing specialist to join our team and accelerate our consumer growth.

**Job Summary:**

The Digital Marketing Specialist will spearhead our marketing efforts and increase the size of the Member for a Day community. The ideal candidate will have a growth mentality and a passion for all things golf and charity. Your role will encompass all things digital; from telling great stories in golf & charity to promoting and scaling our community of golf fans across digital platforms, mediums and channels.

Knowledge of golf is required. If you don’t know the difference between a birdie and a bogey it’s probably not the best fit. If you love golf and love making content, we’d love to hear from you!

**Key Responsibilities:**

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll be working with key executives at Member for a Day in helping to manage and grow our digital marketing initiatives and create the campaigns and initiatives to grow the business.

Digital Marketing Focus Areas

  • Social Media Management
  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence, including content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Email Marketing
  • Manage and grow the company’s email list with performance metrics.
  • Partnerships and Strategic Relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Manage brand partners to make sure we’re fulfilling our obligations for sponsored content.
  • We have major golf partnerships in the works, this will be fun!
  • Paid Media
  • Assist in paid social advertising with a keen eye on creating the right content that reaches the right audience and ultimately increases charitable donations.
  • Media
  • Cultivate relationships with media contacts and news outlets to maximize PR exposure and brand visibility.
  • Content Creation
  • Schedule podcast interviews for the soon to be launched Member for a Day podcast
  • Edit short form videos and podcast clips for maximum social reach.
  • Help with storytelling and content production planning
  • Digital Assets
  • Ensure the Member for a Day website reflects an up-to-date brand image.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably at a B2C business.
  • Understanding of digital marketing techniques and platforms, including social media, and email marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and storytelling.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for generating captivating ideas.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive informed decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Riverside.FM, Opus, iMovie.
