The Media Specialist works with the marketing team to support external communication strategies across all digital touchpoints, including owned channels, press, influencer marketing, and crisis response. This role is responsible for bolstering Communication Service for the Deaf and its subsidiaries' reputation in the competitive B2C, B2B, and B2G markets. This includes developing and executing communication plans, implementing paid ad campaigns, and coordinating media interviews to position our organizations as thought leaders who provide exemplary service. The role will work closely with department leaders to ensure all communications align with the brand's goals and objectives. The goal for each brand is to maximize the reach of each campaign and attract qualified leads through all available channels, ensuring the mix of owned earned channels combined contribute to the overall reach and enhancement of the company's bottom line. This role requires experience in various skills, including media training, writing, script writing, ad development, influencer management, and crisis response.

This highly self-directed position requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position uses a computer and standard office equipment to work in a virtual office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. The position may require travel up to 5%.
