Medicare Choice Group is Hiring a Remote Sales Coordinator

Medicare Choice Group (MCG) provides simplified Medicare education, transition, and enrollment solutions. We offer unbiased guidance and practical decision support, assisting individuals during their Medicare plan research and selection phase to help them find the best plan for them. We partner with health insurance carriers, brokers, employers, and national associations like the National Council on Aging to change the Medicare journey for the better.

We are looking for a highly motivated account manager to maintain, nurture and grow our new and existing customers and partners. While building long-term client relationships, you will introduce, demonstrate and expand utilization of our Medicare solutions and services to meet their needs. You will be our outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned corporate accounts, serving as the primary point of contact. Our corporate account executives are committed to providing exceptional service to our customers and partners. 

What You’ll Do

Corporate Account Coordination

  • Responsible for liaising between MCG internal sales account management/ leadership and new corporate accounts
  • Facilitation and management of all onboarding responsibilities including but not limited to 
    • Working with internal/ external vendors to manage marketing assets 
    • Communication and delivery of assets to corporate accounts 
    • Management of corporate account in SFDC - documents and assets
    • Securing and internal/ external coordination of webinar dates and assets
    • Maintenance of customer accounts based on internal/ external needs

Licensing and Appointment:

  • Responsibilities will include all aspects of licensure, certification, appointment, and agent offboarding.
  • Coordinate and monitor all organizational state licensure, including renewals
  • Serve as primary liaison for all MCG agents with health plans and Field Marketing Organizations (FMOs)
  • Manage onboarding of additional lines of coverage (e.g. dental, vision, hearing)
  • Manage health plan contracting for both the organization and agent
  • Ensure MCG and agents are in “ready to sell” status with health plans
  • Ensure that agents complete Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM), State Individual Health and health plan certifications in a timely manner
  • Coordinate the appointment of agents, including agent-to-carrier alignment and onboarding/offboarding agents
  • Identify areas of concern and non-compliance and create remediation plans to correct deficiencies
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies related to onboarding/ offboarding

  • 5-7 years of sales experience, or other relevant experience
  • Polished communicators with strong interpersonal and presenting skills
  • Problem solvers who thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Quick learners who are open to constructive feedback and training
  • Independent workers who can be held accountable to meet ambitious goals
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with different deadlines and degrees of urgency
  • Experience working with Salesforce 

What We Prefer

  • Sales experience in insurance, Medicare, or healthcare
  • Account support experience, either for individual or corporate customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
