To perform functions in the Controller's Office that focus on daily accounting, month-end close, the preparation of financial statements, audit schedules, analyses and reconciliations, sponsored programs grant management activities and special project work related to the transition to a new ERP system. Position Requirements: Specifications Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree - Accounting Major Minimum Required Experience: 5 years of experience in a complex, automated accounting environment with duties in the areas of financial analysis, financial statement preparation, complex spreadsheet preparation, account reconciliation and journal entries. Preferred Experience: Public accounting strongly preferred. Field: Accounting Certification: CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Why MCW?
