Responsibilities

Mead & Hunt is a Top 100 national engineering/architecture consulting firm with a growing stormwater practice. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a project manager specializing in stormwater design projects. Responsibilities include overseeing schedules and budgets for projects; preparing or directing the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for projects; maintaining client contact; preparing scoping documents, pricing, fee estimates and marketing strategies for proposed projects; attending client meetings; visiting project sites to monitor progress and handle any construction administration issues; mentoring staff. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or related engineering from an accredited school or college and at least ten years of relevant work experience OR if no degree, at least fourteen years of relevant work experience.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

• Leading the design of stormwater projects
• Project Management (scope, schedule and budget)
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
• Client management for municipal and county governments
• PE license
