Education, skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years job-related experience in Insurance, Health Care, Pharmacy Benefit Management, or Clinical\Hospital required.
- Successful implementation of projects with organizational change that had measurable positive results in a clinical, hospital, or insurance industry environment is required.
- Experience in the use of resource, cost management and project tracking and management tools such as MS Project (or similar tool) required.
- Experience managing projects applying formal Project Management concepts, methodologies and processes required.
- Hold one or more active industry (America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Security, Medical, Security GIAC, ISACA, Regtap, CPHIMS or ISC2), International Institute of Business Analyst, Medical Coder, Pharmacy Technical Certification, Epic) certifications is required.
- PMP Certification (or equivalent PMI certification) required.
- Experience in regulatory requirements of the HMO industry, Medicare benefits, medical claims payment, and managed health care principles highly preferred.
- Experience within industry and/or business-related processes, products, systems, functions, and architectures preferred.
- Experience with communicating moderately complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.
- Exhibits critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
- Experience with various Software Development Lifecyle methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, or DevOps is required.
- Experience in Leading/Facilitating project Meeting(s) to obtain schedule, issues, risk and dependency updates.
- Experience in organizing and prioritizing workload of project resources.
