Matt Blatt CDJR is searching for an experienced Service Manager.

As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, leading a team of service advisors and technicians, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the service department, including service advisors, technicians, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Optimize service department operations to drive efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction, monitoring key metrics and implementing improvement strategies.
• Develop and implement innovative service strategies and processes to maximize productivity, surpass performance targets, and enhance overall department effectiveness.
• Mentor and train service advisors and technicians, equipping them with the necessary skills to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues promptly, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Oversee scheduling and workflow management, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of service jobs to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain meticulous records of service transactions, including service orders, invoices, warranty claims, and other pertinent documentation.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, such as sales and parts, to enhance operational synergy and customer satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.
• Monitor and manage service department expenses, including labor costs, parts inventory, and equipment maintenance, while optimizing resources and controlling expenses.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, safety regulations, and manufacturer service standards, guaranteeing a high level of quality and adherence to industry requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus).
• Demonstrable track record of at least 3 years as a successful Service Manager at a dealership, showcasing your comprehensive understanding of automotive service operations, customer service excellence, and warranty procedures.
• Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Proven expertise in optimizing service department performance, achieving targets, and implementing strategic initiatives.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities, enabling you to build strong relationships with customers and resolve any concerns effectively.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, ensuring efficient workflow management and effective resolution of operational challenges.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including service management software, to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, enabling you to oversee service operations effectively.
