The Role
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for leading the Account Coordinators and providing direction when necessary to service customers to the best of our abilities.
A successful manager is dedicated to providing the best in customer service and serves as a knowledgeable, reliable point of contact for information required by internal team members and our customer base which includes assisting customers in placing orders, tracking orders, scheduling shipments, processing sample requests, providing stock and customer quotes, processing invoices, following up on past due invoices, etc.
The Requirements :
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for managing operations and sales support activities of the branch by performing the following duties personally or through direct reports.
Essential Functions :
planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Specific knowledge, skills and abilities :
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education and Experience :
Typically requires a Bachelors degree and three to five years of experience in sales support OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
