Job Summary:

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base. You'll develop and execute sales strategies, build and nurture relationships with key clients and partners, and provide leadership and guidance to our sales team. Your expertise in media sales and your strategic vision will be instrumental in driving the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and objectives. Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. Understand their business needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions and drive value for both parties.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and expectations for performance. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to help team members excel in their roles and achieve their sales targets.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through proactive sales efforts, including prospecting, lead generation, and client acquisition. Develop and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and partnerships to meet revenue goals and objectives.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. Implement best practices for sales processes and systems to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics. Leverage market insights to identify new opportunities and drive innovation in our sales approach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and product, to align sales efforts with broader company objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop integrated solutions and value propositions for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in media sales, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.
