Hands on manager who will manage a small group of 4-6 designers and engineers
Ability to take a Project from concept to completion. Develop, design and integrate mechanical systems to meet system specifications for performance, cost and reliability.
Perform both engineering analysis and hands-on evaluation to prove designs meet product objectives.
A background designing heavy machinery or machine tools is required· Prepare, check and review design documentation for accuracy to uncover any errors and verify that the design as documented meets performance objectives.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years complex machine design experience
- BSME required
- Highly proficient with modeling 3D CAD system . Must have Solidworks experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics a plus
- Stress analysis and FEA
- Competent with independent problem solving and design solution selection
