Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to be based in Cleveland, Ohio.

This position is expected to begin in June 2024.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Builds analytic and design skills.

  • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an

  • experienced engineer.

  • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

  • Perform field work for facility assessments.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Capable of using spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software

  • Basic knowledge of industry-standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and /or Hydraulic models)

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)

Additional Information

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

  • Travel of 10% is required for this position.

  • Offered rate of compensation (Ohio locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $55,029.50-$75,665.57.
