Sales Manager:Position Title: Sales Manager 2FLSA: ExemptReport to: Senior Director & Dept Manager -Alex FujisakaPosition Summary: Responsible for the overall sales strategies and results ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Plan and execute short-, mid-, and long-term business plans and strategies of the SVY Metal 2 Department.Manage all aspects of sales and marketing activities with regard to LED, Polishing Pad, Polishing Slurry, and electronic parts, which encompasses customer and supplier relationship management, payment authorization, credit management, etc.Oversee the planning and coordination of key functions related to trading and sales operations, including purchasing, procurement, logistics, and customer services, and ensure efficient and seamless product delivery.Lead the development of sales channels and procurement sources of LED, Polishing Pad, Polishing Slurry, and electronic parts in North America, Europe and Asia utilizing Marubeni’s global network.Manage finance and accounting matters within the SVY Metal 2 Department, including formulating annual budget plans, monitoring and controlling expenses, and managing monthly sales revenues and profits.Oversee research on new business opportunities related to LED, Polishing Pad, Polishing Slurry, and electronic parts and provide reports on market trends, developments, or customer needs and requirements in the U.S. to senior management facilitating the development of high-level business plans, strategies, and direction. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS:3 – 5 years of sales (industrial consumable products in semiconductor or electric parts ) and supplier knowledge & relationshipsBilingual JapaneseRequires excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work in a multi-cultural business environment Requires excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint skillsRequires strong interpersonal skills –developing a rapport with supplier, influencing, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving a mustStrong technical background with a proven track record in sales with both hard disk and semiconductor industries preferredTime flexibility and ability to travel preferredSalary range: $130,000 - $150,000Marubeni America Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
