Sales Account Manager - Mega Data Center GPU (VDI/ML/AI/HPC)


The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to drive revenue, strategic engagement, and partnership to grow our footprint of Datacenter GPU products into CSPs and MegaData Centers. He/she will own the establishment of the AMD sales strategy leading procurement and alliance relationships, and working towards key revenue, market share and gross margin goals. The solution focus will be on VDI/Cloud Gaming, Machine Learning/AI and HPC.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead in a matrix-managed team culture.
  • Experience selling with or to large Datacenters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement sales-in strategies that grow revenue base and market share for the business
  • Engage Customer and AMD teams to improve collaboration across all lines of business
  • Focus to win AMD GPU footprint into CSPs and mega datacenters
  • Work with regions and Sales and Marketing Teams to improve Go To Market alignment
  • Work with AMD Business Unit teams to drive product strategy and development with account
  • Focus on executive relationships to drive preferred vendor status
  • Close collaboration with cross-matrix teams to ensure value propositions are consistent and aligned

Preferred Experience:

  • Leadership: Proven success in a comparable role, building and leading a distributed team in geographically dispersed locations.
  • Technical: an established background in Server and Datacenter, Graphics and/or CPU/GPU sales with proven progressive experience selling into the Enterprise Server market
  • Customer/Cloud/OEM: strong historical interaction and relationships with key customers and/or cloud accounts
  • Organizational: demonstrated efficiency working in a cross-matrix organization
