Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. is Hiring a Regional Channel Sales Manager Near Santa Clara, CA

Description

WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: Remote

WORK STYLE REQUIREMENT: Remote

WORK LOCATION: Remote - any US States

EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $100,747 - $138,527 annually

This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Territory Manager/Channel Manager

  • Manage and develop the distribution and/or representative partner network in the territory. {E}
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan to achieve/exceed sales quota performance metrics. {E}
  • Contribute to developing effective strategies and tactics that will enable Hitachi to gain and maintain market share. {E}
  • Develop new business within assigned region or industry. Liaise with key staff to develop and implement market strategies to drive Hitachi solutions. {E}
  • Perform direct sales activities (customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations) to key accounts and/or to complement the partner network. {E}
  • Facilitate consistent distributor training on HTA products and systems. {E}
  • Coordinate onboarding of new distributors for HTA products and systems. {E}
  • Conduct product and company presentations directly to partners and customers. {E}
  • Report progress of distribution and/or representative partner networks in Territory on a monthly and quarterly basis. {E}
  • Grow and maintain relationships at the management and executive levels (internal and external) that are of strategic importance to the company {E}
  • Attend relevant trade shows and events related to HTA products in territory {E}
  • Maintain the CRM and provide accurate forecasts as requested. {E}
  • Exhibit leadership by projecting a positive attitude to all employees, partners, and customers {E}
  • Coordinate activities in the region with the service team {E}

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science degree, equivalent or higher.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of sales/business management experience in similar role.
  • 10 years of industry and analytical product (XRF, SEM) experience.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
  • CRM experience
  • Distributor management experience.
  • Experience in direct sales and account management.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to train others on instruments and systems.
  • Language fluency in English. Additional proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to lead and manage others, both internally and externally.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Salesforce, and related software skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently and with distribution partners.
  • Flexible and reliable standout colleague, always acting in the best interest of their department and company.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive, positive relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to manage one's own time and prioritize tasks to meet defined goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong sense of business objectives and a solid instinct on how to best implement those objectives.
