PROBATE PARALEGAL
Boutique law firm seeking a paralegal (aka superhero) to support four busy probate attorneys. Primary responsibilities include client communication after someone has hired the firm (no intake calls), drafting – legal documents and correspondence, and proactively moving matters toward resolution. Cases include probate and estate administration, guardianships, and conservatorships. Superior customer skills and professional demeanor are both a must. A sympathetic ear and thick skin will also go a long way. Following the initial training period there is an option to work from home 2-3 days per week.
Ideal candidate possesses:
- 1 years of prior work experience in a fast-paced professional setting
- College degree
- Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and via email
- An OCD-like attention to detail
- A knack for thriving under pressure, whether that be a looming deadline or an irrational client
- Ability to juggle many projects at once and efficiently switch gears from task to task
- Outstanding work ethic while working remotely
- Eagerness to be a team player
- Basic computer skills (Mac skills are preferred)
- Working knowledge of Clio and/or RingCentral
