As we forge ahead and build upon our legacy, we are searching to bring Sales Professionals aboard to join our team.

Extremely strong phone skills; ability to set and close appointments over the phone
You have 2–3 years of sales experience with a demonstratable track record of success
You possess prioritization, time management and organizational skills.
You are deadline and results oriented and have a “pay-to-play” mindset; taking pride in getting paid for results
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Building and effectively managing a sales pipeline
Prospecting for new customers via phone, in-person, and digital marketing
Build rapport with clients, current and prospective, by being observant and insightful.
Becoming a local expert and involving yourself with networking and community events
Educating all prospective and existing customers on all of Martin Docks offerings to enhance their lake life experiences
Proactively communicate internally with the Production team supervisor and with customers, ensuring an industry-leading level of customer service and product delivery standards
Diligently focus on resolving any customer questions and problems in a courteous and professional manner maximizing satisfaction
Maintain and utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and lead tracking software, updating client information daily
Cultivating relationships with external lead associates / business relationships and building a positive image of the Company
REQUIRMENTS
A minimum of 2-3 years’ sales experience with demonstratable track record of success
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Able to pass a background check
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Exposure to smells, sounds and noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable.
Exposure to chemicals, hazardous equipment, minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings.
Requires working indoors and outdoors in un-controlled and controlled environments.
Requires proper stamina to frequently walk rough/uneven terrain, up/down steep embankments, and wooded areas, around bodies of water, and maintain good balance while on a moving/rocking dock or water vessel.
Drive on public roads and private properties safely in a company vehicle.
Requires valid driver’s license and MVR acceptable to our auto insurance company, passing a DOT physical and keeping them up-to-date and acceptable.
Must speak, write, read, understand, and communicate clearly in English.
Must work at least 40 hours a week. Must be flexible to start early or stay late when needed.
Must be available to attend required trade shows for 2-3 days at a time.
We are looking for experienced salespeople AND people looking to make a change in their career. We have found there are industries that transfer well so if you are looking to graduate from home renovation and remodeling sales, trade-service based sales, real estate sales, landscape design, HVAC sales and or other related industries, we are interested.
HIGH LEVEL DETAILS:
Pay: $85,000 - $350,000; Base Pay and Bonus / Commission Eligible
Schedule: Monday – Friday; Weekends / Select Weekends as Needed
Work Location: In-Office with local travel required on a daily basis
