M Shapiro is a leading MHC property management company headquartered in Farmington Hill, MI, managing 12,000 MHC lots in 104 MHCs on behalf of our clients. The National Sales Manager will work on selling homes in several MHC portfolios in multiple states owned by different M. Shapiro Clients. 

Overview:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team and ensuring that sales targets are met. They are responsible for setting and achieving aggressive sales goals, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building high-performing sales team members. The Sales Manager is accountable for pricing homes using NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) guidelines, inventorying homes, and reporting on sales activities. The Sales Manager works closely with the management team to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with overall business objectives and is responsible for establishing and maintaining solid relationships with key clients. The Sales Manager is accountable for building standard operating procedures for applications, sales, and renewals and will train team members on these procedures both online and in person.

Responsibilities:

• Set and achieve aggressive sales goals for the team, and develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and improve team performance.
• Build and lead a high-performing sales team, including assisting with hiring, training, and coaching team members as needed.
• Price homes using NADA guidelines
• Inventory management of homes and maintain accurate records of available homes for sale.
• Report on sales activities and progress toward meeting sales goals.
• Assist with sales efforts, including participating in sales calls and meetings.
• Monitor market trends with market studies and adapt sales strategies to ensure the team is competitive and successful.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Work closely with the management team to ensure sales efforts align with overall business objectives.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the sales team.
• Set weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals for the team, and work with team members to develop strategies to achieve these goals
• Create, implement, and manage a homebuying conversion program. 
• Build standard operating procedures for sales, applications, and renewals, and train team members on these procedures both online and in person.

Requirements:

• >5 years of sales experience in the MHC industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with RentManager (property management software).
• Familiarity with NADA pricing guidelines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
