Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office and possess strong administrative and organizational skills.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using Dentrix software

- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims

- Maintain patient records and update medical history forms

- Collect payments and provide accurate billing information

- Manage patient flow and ensure timely check-in and check-out

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical receptionist role preferred

- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software is highly desired

- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures is a plus

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
