LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for washing dishes, glasses, silverware and equipment using our large automated commercial dishwashing machine.
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours for all other departments to run efficiently.
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen.
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift.
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
• Possess basic math skills
• MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week.

Additional eligibility requirements and details:

• This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days. 
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
• Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently & 10 pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 – 12 hours a day.
• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
