Louisville Tile Distributors Inc is Hiring an Outside Sales - Flooring Near Minneapolis, MN

Description

Louisville Tile of Minneapolis is seeking an outside sales representative with local market knowledge to cultivate relationships within the Commercial channel. This role is responsible for creating, executing, and tracking a result oriented strategic sales plan that will develop a geographic territory within the Commercial channel. This role is responsible for identifying potential customers within a market, and will prospect, profile, cultivate, and close new clients that meet Louisville Tile standards and criteria. The outside sales representative is responsible for achieving target metrics in terms of activity, sales production, product diversification and penetration, customer service, and gross profit in order to achieve the company’s sales targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial contracting sector, with a specific focus on tile products.
  • Research, prospect, and develop a robust pipeline of potential customers.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Nurture existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  •  Works collaboratively with A&D sales team and showroom team in order to service customers and leverage results.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our tile product offerings and technical methods.

3. Sales and Product Expertise:

  • Promote and sell our extensive range of tile products to commercial contractors, architects, designers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions to highlight the features and benefits of our tiles.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate tile solutions to meet project requirements.

4. Account Management:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Proactively tracks and manage sales activities, leads, and opportunities using Salesforce.
  • Partners with the commercial coordinator role to ensure job status and needs are fully communicated among the team. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and timely delivery of products.
  • Secures negotiated projects with commercial contractors and partners with appropriate resources on job complaints to ensure resolution. 

 5. Networking and Industry Involvement:

  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and represent our company effectively.
  • Actively participate in relevant industry associations and forums to stay updated on industry developments.
