As the Director of Project Management at Locality, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the successful execution of projects across the various verticals of the business. With an initial focus on Product and Technology initiatives, you will lead a team of project managers to ensure seamless project delivery, timely implementation, and overall project success.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define project objectives, scope, and priorities aligning with business goals and ensuring effective utilization of resources.
Manage and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities for direct reports.
Work closely with departments such as Product and Technology to understand project requirements, align strategies, and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.
Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.
Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skills and expertise are applied to each project. Monitor workloads to optimize team efficiency and productivity.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Collaborate with finance and other relevant stakeholders to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Implement and maintain project management best practices to ensure the highest quality deliverables. Conduct regular project reviews and post-project evaluations.
Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is needed. A master's degree is highly preferred.
8 -10 years of progressive experience in project management with a preferred background in the Advertising, Media, or Technology space.
An in-depth understanding of the Advertising/Media industry, particularly in Linear and Streaming Advertising is preferred.
In-depth understanding of PM and Roadmap tools e.g. Jira.
Proven experience in displaying strong leadership and project team management skills to inspire and motivate a team toward common goals.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary of $155,000-$175,000. (dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package (including but not limited to health care benefits, retirement benefits and paid days off).
