Salary Range (Grade D/597): $88,539 (Min) - $131,381 (Max)
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of special projects, Capital and MTA ITprograms that span multiple Department of Subways (DOS) operating divisions. The incumbent will work closely with theoperating divisions in identifying gaps in the operation, procedures, where they relate to the implementation of newsystems, projects, and operating initiatives, and ensure that this implementation is guided by the overarching strategy ofDOS. The employee will providerecommendations through industry research and global best practices in the areas ofoperating strategies, maintenance strategies in interaction with all divisions as well asother NYCT departments ontechnology projects. This position will identify and developstrategies for implementing the organizational changes withinDOS required by the introduction of the new systems and act as the central point for oversight andmanagement of special project implementation.
Education and Experience:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight (8) years of related experience, andfive (5) years of experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity, OR
Asatisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
