Join our dynamic Product department as an experienced and hands-on Business Systems Analyst! We are on the lookout for a tech-savvy individual to contribute to our product development efforts in the ever-evolving media landscape. In this role, you will be a key player, collaborating closely with our business, internal and external software development teams, and support squads to deliver innovative technology solutions aligned with Locality's overall strategy and goals.
Contribute to building and integrating business information systems that boost operational efficiency and drive revenue production.
Ensure top-notch product quality through meticulous testing, ensuring our deliverables meet stringent quality standards.
Document and monitor functional requirements, development plans, and progress, keeping everyone in the loop.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure our products meet business needs, create buy-in, and build support.
Manage and advise on preferred solutions, upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning options, evaluating productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
Develop domain knowledge in advertising, identify and manage risks, and review operational challenges to ensure appropriate solutions.
Define clear goals for all aspects of each project, taking a hands-on approach from solution ideation to implementation.
Stay updated on media industry trends, incorporating solutions to meet changing needs.
Engage with third-party vendors and partners for seamless system-to-system data exchange.
Maintain a customer-centric mindset, providing supervision and guidance to development teams and resolving technical problems as they arise.
Guide the development and delivery of training aids for software enhancements and user support transitions. Analyze issues for future analysis and process improvements.
Create and report on metrics, influencing changes to standards and processes when necessary.
A bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
3 - 5 years of experience with a focus on building and integrating business information systems
Certification in project management methodology is a big plus.
Experience with JIRA, Microsoft O365 (including MS Visio), and SharePoint is a significant advantage.
Knowledge of data analysis, particularly expertise in Excel, is highly desirable.
Technical and analytical skills, coupled with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, self-starting ability, and strong work standards/ethics.
Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary of $75,000-$95,000. (dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package (including but not limited to health care benefits, retirement benefits and paid days off).
