**Description**
Lawrence Merchandising Services is seeking a District Manager to lead a highly innovative world-class merchandising and client services program.
The District Manager will serve as the main point of contact and lead a team of 18 Brand Advocates in their assigned district who provide ongoing merchandising and product-awareness services for our client. You will be responsible for final interviewing and hiring of your team, managing all aspects of their training, scheduling and execution of store visits, completion of visit reporting and their overall performance to specified goals.
As District Manager, you will work closely with your Region Manager to regularly communicate reporting analysis and follow up, provide store level feedback, track performance metrics to goal and address ongoing training opportunities. In addition, you will be responsible for managing your teams schedule, expenses and adherence to company policies.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Three to five years of prior management experience in retail, merchandising and/or field marketing
Multi-unit management experience; Big Box retail experience preferred
Success in meeting performance goals with a burning desire to be the best
Outgoing professional personality with the ability to build relationships quickly
Ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting techniques for Brand Advocates
Home office space with broadband internet connectivity
Reliable daily transportation and ability to travel at minimum 50% of the time within your district.
Illinois, Wisconsin, Montana, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska
Valid driver's license with clean driving record and current automobile liability insurance
The typical schedule is normal business hours, 8am 5pm, Monday through Friday; evening and weekend hours are rare. Seasonal weekend and holiday hours may be required. An exception to the standard hours is when we have product launches.
Extensive knowledge and use of the iOS platform and related products are required
Strong understanding of P&Ls and key performance indicators (KPIs)
