LIVunLtd is Hiring a Remote Training Manager

As the Training Manager at LIVunLtd you will be responsible for the initial and continuous training of LIVunLtd employees, as it relates to both field and internal operations. The Training Manager has a passion for learning and teaching, and the hospitality industry. They will demonstrate operational expertise while working with LIV team members - from frontline associates, on-site managers, corporate team members, executives, and our clients. The Training Manager must be a champion of LIVunLtd and our values and will be responsible for fostering an accountable and positive working culture.

This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days on-site at LIVunLtd's Corporate Headquarters (located in Manhattan, NYC). Additional in-person visits to LIVunLtd locations will be required.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the maintenance of scalable structures for training and promoting growth of all employees across all departments.
  • Maintain and work to continuously improve the current training portal, employee training guides, and company training resources.
  • Design appropriate training schedules and strategies based on the identified training needs in the business.
  • Select appropriate instructional methods and procedures for each unique situation; for example, individual training, self-study, group instruction, simulation exercises, lectures, demonstrations, role play, computer-based training and so forth.
  • Leverage and coordinate with company subject matter experts in support of key initiatives focused on improving the standardization of operations and delivering a first class client experience across locations.
  • Review and organize the current repository of SOPs and training manuals from each department. This includes, facilitating the creation of SOPs and training manuals for all departments that may have an incomplete and / or inadequate repository.
  • Ensure that the format of all department’s manuals, policies, rules, standards of operation and procedures are always in line with the business's overall goals and objectives.
  • Drive client satisfaction by maintaining service and quality standards; conduct periodic location inspections, ensuring completion of training programs and initiating corrective action as necessary.
  • Work with department leaders and management in ensuring that employees consistently get the necessary hands-on training.
  • Track training attendance in all on-going training initiatives and prepare reports as dictated by operational needs.
  • Partner with Human Resources Department to plan, organize, and direct training and development programs, as it relates to field and internal operations, for employees with the purpose of increasing individual and organizational performance and skill enhancement.
  • Partner with Human Resources Department to launch, execute and track training programs; including, but not limited to
    • 5-Star Customer Service Training
    • Leadership Development Training for managers and executives
  • Train new employees, ensuring indoctrination into the working cultures, incorporating them into their departments and ensuring that basic skills and knowledge are covered.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as delegated by the Executive VP of Operations, the Head of Human Resources, and other members of the Executive Team.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience within the hospitality industry. Fitness, luxury residential property management, hotel management or other hospitality experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with senior executives and department heads as a trusted and objective advisor.
  • Must demonstrate strong ability to build and maintain a collaborative and highly engaged team.
  • Maintains the professional presence, maturity, and tact necessary to earn respect and influence teams and outcomes.
  • Understands how to set priorities in complex situations and manage time despite unexpected interruptions.
  • Communicates effectively before many audiences (ex: Executives, Managers, Frontline Employees, etc).
  • Ability to teach, inspire, and lead by example.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and training team members, guiding them to their own success.
  • Able to articulate and exemplify brand vision.
  • Maintains good energy and a positive, can-do attitude at all times.
  • Frequent travel throughout locations that LIVunLtd services.

LOCATION

This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days on-site at LIVunLtd's Corporate Headquarters (located in Manhattan, NYC). Additional in-person visits to LIVunLtd locations will be required.


COMPENSATION

The Training Manager position with LIVunLtd has a starting salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per annum. The range above is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the actual salary may vary from the estimates provided above.
