WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are looking for a passionate and experienced spa and product trainer to provide high-quality training and coaching to our Dr Barbara Sturm retail teams and business clients across North America. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our boutique spa team and wholesale spa partners are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service within five-star hotels, spas, and luxury department stores. This role will require regular travel.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPA EDUCATION TRAINING MANAGER

  • Responsible for delivering treatment protocol and product training to our Dr. Barbara Sturm boutique spa team and wholesale spa partners.
  • Develop and conduct interactive workshops, seminars, and events for new and existing clients.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Provide individualized guidance and support to the teams, growing them into high-performing aestheticians and sales ambassadors.
  • Consistently provide field presence to coach and motivate clients in person and/or digitally.
  • Proactively identify and provide feedback on improving the Sturm global training program.
  • Support the design and delivery of training initiatives within the field.
  • Demonstrate selling skills and participate in developing the Sturm selling ceremony.
  • Participate and help organize in-store events to promote the brand and drive sales growth.
  • Act with high standards as Dr. Barbara Sturm's brand ambassador during spa visits, with wholesale spa accounts and events.
  • Continuously enhance your own knowledge and skills as an aesthetician and trainer. Keep up with industry changes; review and monitor competitor activity, providing analysis and reporting.
  • Effectively foster strong relationships with all internal teams as well as external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide business reports.

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Extensive experience as a Trainer and Aesthetician, ideally within a luxury spa environment.
  • Must be a licensed Aesthetician, body massage and micro needling training certification would be a plus.
  • Must be experienced in sales training, sales techniques, products, storytelling.
  • Ability to coach individuals and teams; you enjoy sharing knowledge, skills and developing others.
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that requires a high degree of flexibility and multitasking.
  • Great presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer and client relation.
  • Able to travel: this role will involve extensive travel across North America. Travel to other international destinations will also be required.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. This may vary based on geographic location. Exact salary depends on various factors such as education, skills, experience and budget.
