SummaryThe Senior Director, Business Development and Capture, is responsible for formulating, leading, and implementing strategy and activities for business pursuits with the federal government, state and local governments, and commercial opportunities. The Senior Director, Business Development and Capture is responsible for leading and winning service and solutions-based business opportunities identified and qualified by Company's business development organization and the executive team, as well as directing business development and capture activities for services and products to federal, state, and local government agencies. The Senior Director, Business Development and Capture works closely with company directors, c-suite members, and company staff toward achieving business growth goals.

Responsibilities
What will you be doing
*Leads end-to-end capture and supports other capture-related activities to include proposal management, proposal writing, pricing strategy, and proposal review.
*Develops and implements business strategy and the development of a sales pipeline through the identification, qualification, and pursuit of business opportunities.
*Manages the opportunity assessment process. This includes communicating with government and partner contacts to provide information for the company to make well-informed bid/no bid decisions, assisting in building relationships with those key partners, and designing and executing a winning proposal strategy.
*Collects market trends and data for capture management.
*Conducts analysis of business development data to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the capture process.
*Contributes to the development of the marketing budget, as requested.
*Builds meaningful relationships internally and externally.
*Identifies "suspect" business needs and qualifies client fit for Company products/services.
*Contributes to the review of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and prepares technical responses, as applicable.
*Executes follow-up with clients once products or services are delivered to assure complete customer satisfaction.
*Maintains confidentiality of client information and reports each interaction.
*Updates the sales pipeline on a weekly basis.
*Reports key performance metrics and measures results.
*Prepares business development, capture, sales, and marketing reports.
*Collaborates with the sales and marketing team.
*Develops reseller networks, as needed.
*Serves as the reseller liaison for the resolution of client questions and complex service issues.
*Protects the confidentiality of patient information through compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH).
Qualifications and requirementsWhat we're looking for

*The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other federal, state, and local government agencies.
*Medicare, Medicaid, and CMS contractors.

*Expertise to manage a product/service transition, implementation, and operation.

*Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent.
*Professional and leadership experience.
*Experience in developing operational, marketing, and sales strategies.
*Contract management experience.
*Proven experience in developing successful customer relationships.
